4MAT Learning Strategy |
The 4MAT learning strategy allows students to approach a topic in different ways, either by asking different questions or by conceptualizing it in varied ways. Teachers use the 4MAT strategy to ensure that all the different learning styles are covered when they teach a concept. They’ll ensure that visual learners can draw what they understand to grasp a concept easily, or that linguistic learners have access to explanatory reading materials.
Each activity in the 8 activity 4MAT cycle is catered to both left brain and right brain activities, allowing learners to approach the concept in diverse ways.
